lmao as crazy as this sounds, I can actually think of two fics that were deleted that fit that description. There’s Lost Souls, Dean is a detective and Cas is his prime for suspect for murder, but he’s also his childhood best friend. And there’s Exonerated, Dean is the detective who put Cas in prison for murder but then years later he’s exonerated and Dean is the only link he still has from his old life. Is it one of those two? I’ve got both!

I started rereading six of crows and I'm still so in awe how great the show and the actors brought inej and jaz (and jasper) to live like holy man im always so sceptical with books being made into movies or shows cause they do be worse a lot of time but this show really did so good

I’m like you! Don’t get me wrong I loved the books and was looking forward to the adaptation, but I wasn’t really obsessed with them. But the show exceeded all my expectations, it’s so rare that an adaptation actually uplifts the original material and that’s 100% due to how deeply the cast understands their characters. They brought so much more layers, things that were only what-ifs and headcanons. I’m talking about all the cast but the 3 original crows especially blew me away.

With every new update (which is on the 1, 11 and 21 of each month) oseman puts a little description and possible triggers as the text along with the pictures but if I remember correctly maybe they're on the first panel as well but not sure.

Sorry me again I remember everything after I've hit sent 🙈 if you do start heartstopper and you like the writing style/way of storytelling oseman has a book called loveless where they main characters slowly comes to terms with being aroace and creates her own chosen family. It draws from oseman's own experiences (as she's said) and let me tell you. I'm ace, known for years still haven't fully accepted it, this book was everything. At some point I had to take a big break from it because it was just too many emotions and feelings that hit close to home. Definitely recommend that one

Different anon, it is really good! There's not really like teenage drama. Hearstopper is kind of the origin story of the coup, Nick and Charlie, who are side characters to the author's (Alice Oseman) debut Solitaire. So basically it's about how they got together. Fyi Charlie has an ed, dont know if that is triggering to you, oseman handles really well but you never jlknow what might trigger someone. But yeah it's really good and EXTREMELY GAY. It recently got a Netflix adaptation announcement so there's been a lot of excitement surrounding it lately

I have finised derry girls ! i loved it, it’s so irreverently and unapologetically funny while being set during very hard times that still feel relevant today. The chemistry within the cast is also great! Normal people however i’ve only watched the first ep, then i got distracted with flat hunting and other things i’d been waiting for for a while ^^
