What Did You Think of Doctor Who: Fugitive of the Judoon?

It’s no longer a Judoon platoon upon the moon; instead, the great big space rhinos are marching around Gloucester because of course they are. Remember the excitement Chris Chibnall tried to generate when they announced that the Judoon would be back in Doctor Who Series 12, soon before the aliens were spotted in Gloucestershire? As a fan of the Judoon (I love Smith and Jones!), I was certainly…

Synopsis and Guest Cast Revealed for Doctor Who: Praxeus

The synopsis for the sixth episode of Doctor Who Series 12, Praxeus, has been revealed… and it looks like the season’s scope widens further, as it takes in Peru, Madagascar, and Hong Kong. The TARDIS team, or “fam” if you must, is split up once more, and I’m sure I’m not the only one getting Spyfall vibes.
Here’s the synopsis:
Across Peru, Madagascar, and Hong Kong, the Doctor and friends…

Doctor Who Got More Than 1.7 Million iPlayer Requests Over Christmas

The BBC has been celebrating the success of its iPlayer over the festive period. High profile shows like Gavin & Stacey, Call the Midwife, EastEnders, and – yes – our little show, Doctor Who, have all done well.
The figures provided are for the period 20th December to 2nd January and cover total requests per programme (and per episode) over that time.
And Doctor Whowas requested around…

What Did You Think of Doctor Who: Spyfall - Part 1?

Doctor Who is back. It’s been a long wait, but, a year after the previous episode, Resolution, those promises of the show returning in “early 2020” actually meant “very early 2020″, because Series 12 debuted on BBC1 today, with the first part of Spyfall.
As Jodie Whittaker’s second season as the Thirteenth Doctor, and Chris Chibnall’s second as showrunner, there’s been a lot riding on Spyfall–…

There Have Been Some Changes to the TARDIS for Doctor Who Series 12...

I think its safe to say that the TARDIS interior for the Thirteenth Doctor’s era was a little strange. For me, it seemed to be a mixture of the Ninth, Tenth and Eleventh Doctors’ TARDISes with the bright orange colouring of Matt Smith’s TARDIS merged with the coral motif that stuck with the Ninth and Tenth Doctors’ ships.
When it was first revealed properly at the end of the second episode, Th…

What Was Mandip Gill's Favourite Story of Doctor Who Series 11?

Ahead of the upcoming series, which will debut on 1st January 2020 with the two-part opener, Spyfall, the Doctor Who cast – Jodie Whittaker, Bradley Walsh, Mandip Gill, and Tosin Cole – reflected on the previous run of adventures for the gang.
Mandip revealed which episode was her favourite and which she was most proud of. The answer to both was Demons of the Punjab.
Gill put it down to the…

According to a recent interview in Radio Times, showrunner Chris Chibnall explains:
“I love a two-parter. And our two-parters are epic this year. We always knew last year would be those 10…

Chris Chibnall: "Doctor Who Series 12 is More Ambitious"

As promotion for Doctor Who Series 12 kicks into gear (what’s that, you’ve already noticed?) showrunner Chris Chibnall has promised ‘bigger moments’ and ‘big risks’ in the coming run of stories.
He says:
“It feels like a step up. It’s probably more ambitious than last year. Scale, storytelling, everything. I would say we are aiming to keep moving forward and up. There are bigger moments…
