Daisuke Takahashi performs his short program to “The Sheltering Sky” at the 2018 Japanese National Championships, scoring 88.52 for second place. Takahashi, an Olympic bronze medalist, World Champion, and 5-time Japanese National Champion, announced his return to competition in 2018 after a 5-year retirement.
Nobunari Oda (JPN) performs a clean free skate to “YMCA” at 2018 Japan Open, scoring 176.95 points to place 2nd in the men’s segment and helping Team Japan win overall with 621.91 points. He landed 4T3T, 3A1Eu3S, 3A, 3Lz, 3Lo, 3F3T, 2A in his free program. Oda retired from competitive skating in December 2013.
