“Wouldn’t it be nice if both of Allen’s dads were alive?” I say 2 seconds before spiraling into self-indulgent niche AU hell. Anyways, this is my take on a DGM “~~Howl’s~~ Mana’s Moving Castle” AU.

I don’t care if people read this as platonic or romantic or whatever, but if Hoshino “Luke & Leia”s us at some point, that’s on you. In the meantime, (Older) Mana / Cross is my “Schrodinger’s Crackship” because: 1) I want Allen to have his dads back and I love the “Found Family” trope, 2) Mana / Cross has the potential to be both sweet yet tragic and I love to suffer, but mostly: 3) I love the implication that Mr. Womanizer Cross has (or had) feelings for a clown because that’s downright hysterical. Mana may deserve better, but Cross sure doesn’t, lmao.
