This is set fairly on, so there's not much shippiness in it. What there is are the small things we come to expect, including hand holding when they think they might be home, and other general hand holding.

Then her own [Barbara's] eyes glazed over and she collapsed into Ian's arms.

[He] turned to stare at each of them in turn. He considered Barbara with a special interest. Barbara flinched under the unwelcome attention and Ian put a protective hand on her arm.

Barbara lay a calming hand on Ian's shoulder.

Instead of answering Proto just pointed first at Barbara and then at Susan. "These two creatures have set up dangerous vibrations in the perceptor coils."
[Ian laughs]
"Explain." [Proto said]
"I bet they have. They're women. And if you think your perceptor coils are the only ones affected..." [Ian said]

Now [Ian] was looking rather self-conscious in a silver-grey knee length tunic and tight black leggings.
[Susan laughs] "Oh, Mr Chesterton, you look as if you're about to walk the high wire."
"About to? Hah. I'm already on it."
Susan looked at her grandfather. He was still wearing his old frock coat and checked trousers. "Hadn't the robots brought him anything?" she asked.
The Doctor barked back at her crossly, "I'm not parading like some plucked turkey for them or anyone. And besides, I haven't got Chesterton's legs."
