As noted, Daniel Bryan appeared at Money In the Bank and said that he may have to have another surgery soon. If Bryan does have to go under the knife again, he could be out of action for as long as 6 months to 1 year.

There is talk in WWE of having John Cena vs. Daniel Bryan for the WWE Title as the main event of the Money in the Bank PPV in Philadelphia. While things could change, right now it's expected that Bryan would remain a babyface for the match. Meltzer also speculated that this match would be part of WWE's plan to give John Cena "legend" status by having him beat The Rock, survive Ryback, and wrestle a possible match-of-the-year with Bryan in a short period of time.
