I'm rewatching the trial scene (S2E7) and I am absolutely blown away by Sam's acting. He keeps his eyes at the absolute precipice of tears the whole time, without once shedding a real tear they'd have to fix in post.
If that's not one of the true measures of acting prowess and talent, I don't know what is.
We truly don't deserve him as our Lestat. But he will absolutely always be forever our Lestat.
He's incredible. The microexpressions he does express sooooo much.
And yes - he will be.
