finished Emi's outfit! super happy with how it turned out; i got to use up a bunch of little scraps and bits of trims in it too. as i feared tho absolutely none of the RH shoes i have work with this look...
still have a few naked RH girls to clothe; not sure who i'll make an outfit for next-- probably either Marisa Golding, Daphne or Bella?

Rainbow High Series 4, sources in photos.
MGA just continues to impress with the Rainbow High line. It is so refreshing to see a company reinvesting in their products and continuing to improve them.
Even the less detailed doll in this line doesn't feel like a compromise.
I'm eager to see which dolls (if not all) will include the swappable calf feature. I know that people don't love that option, but we all know jointed ankles don't work great without also having jointed toes for severe heels and imho having swappable calves makes more sense for longevity as opposed to having swappable feet.
It may not be the ideal solution, but it makes a lot of sense.
Anyways, these will apparently be released next month lol So I guess that is motivation to get my doll clothes shop open sooner.
So I finally caved and got Amaya before she disappeared, like series 1 and 2 is very limited in the uk right now and you can’t find a Sunny anywhere anymore. Annoyingly, my Amaya wasn’t really discounted or anything but I thought I’d better grab her while I still could. She’s got a mark by her eye that I hope I can remove as well as one in one of her knee joints. Even so I think she’s really pretty and I really love her rainbow hair, which I’m also going to wash out when I can. I wasn’t really in to Rainbow High when I first saw them but they’ve really grown on me now and so I’ve also got Daphne and Daria to unbox still.
Low-key tempted to get the closet or the doll that comes with wigs and extra clothes (I’ve forgotten her name).
