Ahh, I didn't notice the year on the email. Thanks for letting me know! In that case I might as well keep it until its worth using.
A last-minute custom, as is my forte! 🤣 This twice as fancy fella has been haired all month, and had to get some last minute paint last night! 🎃 But he turned out great!! 🦇 I’m still working on a cute name, but he was inspired by the beautiful bandana that @toyconfetti made for me last year, and I used confetti bats from @kawaiicorgicrafts !! Tomorrow will be more photos, but for now, Happy Halloween!! 🎃🦇🎃🦇 #ponygurucustom #mylittleponycustom #mylittlepony #mlp #mylittleponycustomizer #hqg1c #halloween #custompony #customtoy https://www.instagram.com/p/CkZdpiuvOX5/?igshid=NGJjMDIxMWI=
Let's go giiiiiiirls i made another quick little doll because i still have SO MANY doll parts that were gifted to me by @betweenishish and these little bodies (anyone know what dolls they originally belong to? Hairdorables!) are perfect for the Sylvanian Families heads.
This little kitten is called the Huntress and is covered in gore because that's what i like to do for fun. No real rats were harmed in the breakfast for this girl, MWAH~

One of my favourite things about the G1 web series was that the backgrounders were this absolute strange mix of horror monsters blended with cute high school designs, with some having more clear inspiration than others.
Audrey 3 was one of the clearest inspirations of what horror film she came from, and considering Little Shop of Horrors is one of my favs, I knew I would eventually make a doll of her.
I really do like that Audrey 3's design had a sort of early 60s feel to her design (much like how Scarah was a mod era ghoul) so I leaned into that when sewing her outfit by making her capris in this micro corduroy fabric, and using this pretty complex knit pattern fabric for her top,
Since Scarah, Iris, and Gilda all started off as semi plain background designs but had their looks elevated when brought to the forefront as dolls, I wanted to do the same with Audrey 3 since the fashion dolls weren't 1:1 recreations of the web series.
My latest Goodwill haul is Barbie outfits rather than dolls. The outfits are from a few different eras.
First, my blonde Bubblecut looks amazing in this outfit (I made the Barbie safe earrings, but will eventually make another pair since these are a bit bit - all the other jewelry is vintage Barbie):
I’ve never seen any of the Little Theater outfits in person before so I had no idea they were such good quality. Here’s my swirl ponytail Barbie in the Guinevere outfit, with the little storybook:
And I especially love finding Francie fashions, the ones below are modeled by my two Francies and one of my Twiggy dolls:
And finally, these palazzo pants are spectacularly 70s:
I did find some 80s outfits too but I’m saving them for when I post pics of the lot of 80s dolls I got recently.

My G3 Clawdeen reroot is finally done! I used an auburn/brown blend of saran with some brunette saran underneath and near the front, thanks to customdollhairau. I then curled it with pipe cleaners and let her soak in boiling water until cool. I'm really pleased it created the style I was after and it's still so soft and shiny! Much better than that awful poly she came with! I put her back in her og outfit for now, with the addition of a Disney ILY4Ever headband which I think really works for her. Hopefully I can find something more fun for her to wear once I get my doll space together!

i restyled these two! berrie looks so pretty with her hair down, it's unreal
I had completely different plans, but everything changed the moment she landed in my hand. I've dubbed her Whisper - or Wisp for short. I wanted her name to also bring to mind will-o'-wisps and whirlers (the maple tree seeds that are her wing design). @aishavoya did an absolutely incredible job and she poses like a dream. I have a new gold standard for doll joints because she holds ALL the poses. I'm so impressed with her sculpting and movement.
RH clothes fit VERY well on the Dream Besties, to the point I suspect this was intentional. The shoes are too big ofc, but everything else fits perfectly.
If you can't beat 'em, join 'em, I guess?
