Harry Potter is the sort of person who doesn’t give up even when the odds are stacked against him. He wears his heart on his sleeve but his heart is in the right place and he would do anything for the people he loves. He is very distrustful of the adult figures but when he does trust them, he would protect them until his final breath.
Harry gets prone to anger in his latter teenage years due to all the trauma he went through. He can be rash and charge into things but he’s a great wizard who can hold his own against the strongest of Death Eaters.
Like his father, he is great on a broomstick. He was the youngest Quidditch player in a century and it was through his determination to master the Patronus charm that Gryffindor won the Quidditch cup in his third year.
The greatest quality that Harry possesses is his modesty. He doesn’t want the fame or glory and he hates being the centre of attention. His abilities as a wizard are constantly underestimated. He could produce a fully corporeal Patronus at aged thirteen and he was the best in his year at Defence Against the Dark Arts. He was so proficient in the subject that he taught a number of his peers.
Harry doesn’t seek glory or power. He is the sort of leader to step up when things get tough. He became the symbol of resistance against Voldemort. His very presence inspired others, making them believe that the impossible was possible even though Harry sometime had no clue what he was doing.
Dumbledore had taught Harry about the certain acts of magic. Harry knew that it was Ron who had to destroy the Locket with Gryffindor’s sword and Harry knew that the power of love was the greatest magic of them all. It was something that Voldemort never knew but something that Harry thrived on. He thought of Sirius when Voldemort was possessing him in the Ministry of Magic and his last thought was of kissing Ginny when he was going to give himself up to Voldemort.

I love dumbledore’s relationship with the weasley twins in the first book. he conducts (WITH THE ELDER WAND) their funeral march version of the school song, specifically looks at them during his back to school speech when talking about the forbidden forest, is amused when they sent harry a hogwarts toilet seat as a get well soon present

Gryffindor VS Slytherin
The illustration for the November edition of the Owl Post Club! I'm so excited about this one! In the books, November is when the Quidditch season kicks off with the first match: Gryffindor VS Slytherin. I wanted to draw that for this month's Owl Post postcard. The goal was to create an illustration that was dynamic and energetic. And what is more fun than Harry and Draco battling for the snitch?
