AITA for abusing a family curse to help my team win?
I (12 M) come from a family where all the men are subject to Murphy's Law, so whatever could go wrong will go wrong. Because of this, I'm not usually allowed to attend school sporting events because we're almost guaranteed to lose.
I was finally allowed to come to a game because our team was likely to lose anyway, which I was still glad to cheer for my friends on the team.
While I was there, my friends and I realized that if I cheered for the opposing team, our team would play better. So we got me all the merch for the other team, sent me to the opposing side, and had me cheer for them. Sure enough, our team ended up winning.
I'm glad that we won, but I still feel kinda bad for not cheering on my friends. AITA for rooting for the enemy?
