- 7. How often do you use references?
I use references all the time whenever I’m drawing characters that already exist. And I use my own body when I want to draw various poses - usually I stand in front of the mirror and look at a specific pose for a long time before getting to draw it. So basically I use references all the time, except when I draw my own characters!
- 15. How long does an average piece take you to complete?
That depends heavily on the type of piece. If it is just a sketch it can be over in 20 minutes, if it’s an illustration then... several hours. Sometimes there are even pictures that I keep getting back to over several days. So yeah, there’s no real time window.
- 19. What is the most difficult thing for you to draw?

- 27. How many layers does a typical piece require?
I always have one sketch layer, two outline layers and then - when I colour a piece, then I use one layer for each colour!

- 9. How much time to you spend drawing on an average day?
On work-days, probably 1-2 hours. On weekends maybe 3-4 hours. But when I take a whole day to draw, then I literally draw the entire day.

- 30. What inspires you to not just make art, but to be a better artist?
Honestly just my own perfectionism. There’s always room to improve and whenever I look at my old drawings I’m like ‘Wow I’ve improved a lot’ and that alone is motivation and inspiration enough for me to keep going.

- 1. Do you prefer traditional drawing, or digital?
Depends! For illustrations I prefer digital ones, for sketches I like to use traditional tools. I don’t know why but “traditional” sketches have something that makes them look extra pretty for some reason.
- 2. How long have you been drawing?
For as long as I can remember tbh. Ever since I can remember, drawing was one of my biggest passions.
- 19. What is the most difficult thing for you to draw?
Definitely backgrounds! I could get better but I’m often too lazy to do proper backgrounds and if I do, I often have how they turn out.
- 20. What is the easiest thing for you to draw?
My own characters! I love drawing them and it’s really easy for me to do so, because I know how they look and don’t have to look at references.

- 34. A time I succeeded
When I was diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis two years ago, I had to finish my Bachelor thesis while being in hospital for three weeks, getting a treatment and trying to come to terms with the diagnosis.
But I managed to finish my Bachelor thesis and get a really good grade for it and I’m quite proud of myself for doing this, even if everyone told me I should finish my thesis later c: !

There’s a german rhyme that goes “Was du nicht willst was man dir tu’ das tu’ auch keinem and’ren zu.”Which basically means that you should treat others the same way you want to be treated. Aka be nice if you want to be treated nicely! And I try to live by this quote ever since I could remember.

The Matrix will always be my favourite movie! I lost count of how many times I already watched this! But only the first one, not the sequels.

I don’t really have one favourite food actually. But I really love everything with Curry and Basmati. I could eat ripe Mangoes all day hhhhh and I love all kinds of sandwiches.
- 22. My favourite drink
Definitely cold/hot chocolate with soy milk and green tea (warm or iced :D)
