some more schott siblings bc I love writing these 😊 - this is set during the season 1 episode 'childish things' just after winn finds out his dad got out of jail (also I haven't included anything that happened in the actual episode since I haven't watched the episode in forever I really need to/want to rewatch supergirl)

+ ps. if you want even more of these send in some moments you'd like to see (either random moments or scenes that could've been different if winn had a younger sibling)

okayy here we go (10 points if you read that in a mario voice)

All these years, with his father in prison, Winn thought he was safe - or safer, at least. Finding out his father had escaped, whilst not too unsuprising, almost felt like a shock to Winn.

Only 11 when his father was arrested, Winn had idolised his father when he was young. Now, however, he knew his fathers true motives. He had done for a while.

Winn's mind had been racing these past few days, and whilst he tried act normal, his friends had started noticing he wasn't himself. First to notice, however, was Winn's sister.

Sat at his desk, Winn hummed to himself as he typed away, clearly in his own world. With two coffees in her hand, Quinn entered the office and approached his desk.

Noticing her almost straight away, Winn leaned back in his chair as he looked over at his sister, "What's this for?" he asked, referring to the beverages as he leaned forward to take one from her.

Quinn, however, pulled away, "Not until you tell me what's going on," she said, placing both coffees onto the desk, "I know you better than anyone, Winn. You haven't been yourself for the past few days, and you're starting to freak me out."

Looking away, it was clear that Winn didn't want to tell her - which only made Quinn more persistant. "Winn, please."

After so many years, Winn knew that deep down, he couldn't keep the truth away from Quinn forever.

"Fine," Winn sighed after a moment or so; pulling Quinn into a nearby empty room, the younger sibling crossed her arms, "You really needed to pull me into a different room for this?"

Winn cleared his throat and shoved his hands into his pockets. "Okay, this probably doesn't seem like a big deal to you, but believe me, it is," he paused for a few seconds before continuing, "dad's out of prison."

Quinn raised an eyebrow, "And, that's a big deal?"

"Yes!" Winn's voice sounded harsher than intended, "it's bad, Quinn. You don't know what he's capable of, but...I used to help him - sort of, I don't know -"

Taking a deep breath, he sat down. "What are you talking about?" Quinn asked, concerned.

"We used to go to his workshop, and he'd show me how to make all these toys," Winn told her, "and, I'm scared that now he's out, he'll want me to work with him."

Quinn could tell why this had been messing with Winn's mind; she'd never seen him like this. "What if I end up like him?" Winn's voice was soft and shaking, it hurt Quinn to see him like this. All her life, he'd always been the strong one - not that he had much choice, but it almost scared Quinn to see her brother like this.

"I don't want to kill people."

Quinn hadn't even really realised she was still standing. Sitting next to Winn, she looked at her brother, the terrified look in his eyes hurting her heart.

"Hey," it took Quinn a moment to find her voice, to think of something to say, "you are nothing like him, you never will be. Winn, you are the strongest person I know. Just because you're related to him, doesn't mean you'll become him."

Winn smilled softly, though it took him a few moments to recompose himself. "No matter what happens, we'll get through this. Together." Quinn said as Winn got to his feet, doing the same herself a few seconds later. "Also, never drag me into a room like that again."

"Okay, I lightly grabbed your arm. Don't be so dramatic," Winn rolled his eyes as he opened the door. "It's my job to be dramatic," Quinn grinned as she walked out of the room, Winn following.

"Oh, and," Quinn turned to face him once again when he spoke up, "thanks. I really needed to hear that."

"It's the least I could do." she simply replied; smiling, Winn slung his arm around Quinn as the two headed back to work, hoping to forget about the whole situtation, though, of course, that wouldn't be the case.

Quinn didn't pay much attention when she noticed her brother and stepmother head into a different room; she knew her brother had a bigger axe to grind than she did, so decided it was best to leave the two alone to talk.

A few minutes later, screeching could be heard in the distance, and it was getting closer. Quinn barely had any time to react before a large cloud of, what seemed to be, flying monkeys, appeared.

"What the hell is that?" Quinn asked, to no one in particular. "It's a message," Mary, her stepmother, replied. Quinn hadn't even noticed the two reappear, "for me."

Quinn watched the sky, as an army of flying monkeys wrote a message that simply said 'Surrender, Mary'.

Knowing what was about to happen, Winn grabbed Quinn's jacket as the army of monkeys suddenly dove straight towards the DEO.

The screeching became much louder as the monkeys flew through the building, knocking anyone and everyone to the ground.

"This is why I don't work here full time!" Quinn shouted as Winn pushed her under a nearby desk. "Stay there!" he told her, before trying to outrun the monkeys, only to get cornered by a group of them himself.

"Oh, you came for me!" The suprise was clear in Winn's voice as he backed away, only to bump into a table.

Though she was safer under the desk, Quinn knew she wouldn't be able to forgive herself if something happened to her brother.

Spotting a baseball bat near where she was, the girl quickly dove for the weapon; she had no idea where the item had come from, but that was the least of her concerns.

Turning to the group of evil toys surrounding Winn, she began to swing violently, managing to knock out a few.

Watching as one of the toys went to grab Winn, Quinn was about to lunge at the monkey, just as Mary grabbed the toy by it's leg. "Get away from him, you nightmare!" the woman yelled, before the toy suddenly evaporated.

Looking over, Quinn watched as Kara appeared with a weapon she didn't recognise. Dropping the baseball bat she was holding, Quinn pulled Winn up to his feet. "You okay?" she asked, Winn just nodding in response as he wrapped an arm around her. Noticing the amount of evil monkey toys laying motionless on the ground, the siblings shared a glance.

"Well, at least that's over with." Quinn let out a sigh of relief, to which Winn shook his head, "that won't be the last of it. Trust me."
