The Feast!

Danny, now an adult, works as an engineer and tech developer for Wayne Enterprises. One day, he has to bring his daughter, Ellie, into work with him. Ellie’s school had been temporarily shut down after a rouge attack, and the campus isn’t yet safe for the students to return to.

Tim couldn't help himself if he tried. The tiny slip of a thing had not only snuck up on him?!? She had apparently also smuggled 20+ oranges in with her. The look on her Dad's face screamed resigned amusement. Everything about her screamed trouble. The good, fun and kind trouble of a young mischief maker. He knew his laughter was likely uncomfortably close to cackling right now. But she was the best thing he'd seen all month. Tim forced himself to slowly stop. Holding his stomach for a second he grinned at the child of an employee. Who seemed gleeful at the chaos she had created. Then he stuck out a hand. Chaos like this needed encouragement after all.

Tim: Well hello there mischief! I'm Tim, who are you and your Dad?

Ellie: I'm Ellie, and Papa is Danny. You should have an orange Mr Tim. You look tired. Snacks help!!

Tim: Thank you Ellie. It's kind of you to offer. So! What are you looking forward to this week? Other than feeding people oranges?

Ellie: Papa works on space machines! And he says there's videos to some of them!! which sounds amazing!!!!!

Tim: It is very cool. Did your Papa tell you why we have the videos?

Ellie: Papa says lotsa reasons? Early detection of stuff. In case machines get broken. To learn more about space! And cause they could so why not.

Tim: *treats ellie with respect, doesn't talk down to her, is delighted by her chaos, is Danny's age*

Danny: *having heart palpitations cause the guy is ALSO very hot* oh god oh no oh fuck oh shit *falls in love instantly*

Loving this so far but I have one very important question.

What about Dan?

Do we have an Uncle Dan who has been banned from babysitting Ellie because the last time ended with several felonies!

An Big Brother Dan who goes to a different school than Ellie and is very upset he doesn’t get to go to work with Danny?

Or a Baby Dan in some kind of high security daycare or spending time with Grandpa Frostbite/Clockpa/Pappy Pariah/Nona Pandora?

Each has its own potential.

For example….

We could have Uncle Dan babysit Ellie while Danny has Date Night with Tim. The two decide to spy on Danny’s date and run into the other bat sibs doing the same.

We could also have Big Bro Dan being super overprotective of Danny and tries to bite Tim who is having Damian flashbacks.

Or we could have Baby Dan using his apparent age to trick people into thinking he’s oh so innocent when he’s really Ellie’s mischief making sidekick/mastermind of behind all the chaos.

Ohhhh god I love the idea of Uncle Dan or Dan being Ellie’s big brother that goes to another school (and he couldn’t come to work bc he had an important test that day or something, otherwise Danny would have absolutely brought him along)

I had been trying to think of how to incorporate Dan when I first wrote the prompt but I couldn’t figure out how to work him in and now you’ve given me ideas.

I was also thinking of a fourth option: Danny is currently incubating Dan’s core after he was injured and had to revert in order to properly heal. And due to the extent of his injuries, neither Danny nor Frostbite are 100% sure how long Dan will need to heal. So imagine Danny and Tim finally start dating, and then, all of a sudden lil baby Dan pops out.

Either Danny can explain to Tim the truth. Or, Tim has convinced himself that Dan is his child now. He somehow indented Danny and now they have a baby brother for Ellie.

I love the idea of lil brother Dan, currently being babysat by Grampy Frostbite while Danny works. Because you know Ellie will tell everyone in the office about him. Has a picture of her holding him in her arms, grinning up at that camera with a gap in her front teeth. Baby Dan looks deeply disgruntled.

Tim: So, why didn't you bring your son too?

Ellie: Dante bites! Look I gotta picture!

*Shows picture of Dan hanging from a thugs arm as Danny tries to pry him loose. Then a second with a smug looking Dan with blood around his mouth, a bleeding thug in the background and a deeply designed Danny*

Danny: Yeah... I don't want him getting even more bloodthirsty. And he hates people cooing over him. Dante allows family near. Anyone else gets bitten.

Tim:... That is some impressive jaw strength for a toddler. No wonder he's at home.

Ellie: He's with Grampy F! Grampy is the best! He teaches me stuff all the time. I'm learning hunting soon!!!

Danny: Just promise not to practise on Gotham's wildlife... We don't know what's in it.

Tim: I agree with your Papa on that one. The local wildlife is NOT edible. And would definitely fight back.

Ellie: Ooh! Like Grampy Jack’s hotdogs!

Tim: wha-

The wildlife Ellie wants to hunt is Killer Croc/Waylon Jones. Because she’s decided that Waylon looks lonely. And he’s friend shaped. And Ellie is also friend shaped! It’s perfect!

(Of any of the vigilantes and friendly rouges with animal themes)

The Colosseum

I started writing this and have no idea how to finish it or where to take it from here. I had an idea but lost it halfway through 😅

Valerie had had it with all of the ghosts in Amity. She could hardly sleep, was missing schools as a result because she was either too exhausted to stay awake long enough in class, or another ghost attack was forcing her to miss the entire period to go deal with that day’s trouble maker. Almost every part of her body hurt in one way or another. Bruises that should have faded by now but haven’t because every day she was out collecting more. She couldn’t blame Phantom either. He seemed just as tired and beat up as she was even with his healing factor.

Here’s some questions i came up with that might help in figuring something out

These are all excellent questions so I’ll see what I come up with going off my current mood:

Something something Danny learns that Jason died and crawled out of his own grave.

Danny, to Jason: You actually got a grave?

Jason: Why? You want one?

He doesn’t notice how this could potentially sound like a threat from an outsider’s perspective.

The way Danny's eyes get big and wet as he reverently whispers, "You'd give me a grave?" only fuels the misunderstanding.

Can't tell what i prefer more

Runaway street kid danny who heard rumours of him crawling out his own grave and just wondering if there is someone else like him and getting the kindest offer ever

Or

Adult danny, hearing one of the protectors of the city he's taking refuge say, quite frankly the most romantic think he's ever heard and just swooning

Either way is extremely emotional and Danny is no in love (platonically or romantically) with red hood.

He's his, he claimed him, no one can touch him, get away batman, that's his undead now.

Just, an itty bitty Danny, tiny and malnourished trying to fight batman for custody.

Or a grown man Danny ready to propose, looking for rings and planing the murder of the clown.

Throw in Jazz or Ellie, someone who knows about Danny

“RED HOOD!” The bats descend on the scene before then. Red Hood and two other young woman are standing gathered around an open casket, the young man/boy from earlier laying inside with his arms crossed over his chest. He was still very much alive, given the rise and fall of his chest and then opening of his eyes upon their arrival.

Roughly one year earlier…

The night sky was lit up in a canopy of colour, mainly greens and reds, as anti-ghost guns and heavy artillery were fired in all directions. The onslaught of noise and harsh light from the GIW’s ray guns made Danny’s already aching head spin.

GhostKing!Maddie

Reveal gone right. Good parents Jack and Maddie.

Danny tells his parents that he’s Phantom and they accept him with open arms and hearts and the willingness to change their views. With this they start their research on Ghost culture, because that’s a part of their baby’s life (afterlife?) now so of course they’re going to make sure they understand their son so as to avoid potential culture clashes in the future.

(Did you know ghosts fight as a form of bonding?! Fascinating!)

At some point in their research they learn that the method of succession for the title of King of the Infinite Realms if for the former king to be defeated in trial by combat.

They learn that Danny defeated the former king tyrant Pariah Dark.

Their little Dann-o is the new King.

Sometimes (im talking like %0.5) it screws up and gets Jack instead
