Oh, Also!

I went to a BTS concert!

I went to two, actually, because I have no self control :P

I couldn’t find anyone to go with me so I said “screw it” and went up to New York by myself for a weekend and saw them both nights they were in Newark.  I originally only had tickets to the first night, but like I said, no self control. :D  

It was amazing! (The whole trip was, but especially the concerts)

I screamed my head off and sang along and cried a lot.  Easily the most fun I can ever remember having in my life. 10/10, do recommend.

So I can’t remember the last time I consistently posted on here, so I’m just gonna assume I was still in California and go from there.  Geez it’s been over a year, sorry about that!

So I moved from NorCal where I was working for another sports team out to the Washington DC area.  I worked at the Smithsonian National Zoo for awhile, which was crazy fun, but only part-time.  Eventually I got a full-time job with a team in the area.  Did I love it?  No.  Did I hate it?  Also no.  It was a full-time job with benefits, and I did go to school for sports management, so I stayed, even though I was pretty sure it wasn’t gonna be a permanent thing.

I kept feeling like it was time to move on, but I didn’t want to walk away from a full-time job and healthcare, so I just sorta waited to see what would happen.  What happened was my position was eliminated and I was laid-off due to downsizing, which was not fun at ALL.  So I started looking around at my options to see what I want to do next.

I’m going back to school again :P  There’s some really good community colleges in the area, so I’m starting there in International Studies.  Eventually I want to end up at George Mason, they have an accelerated Master’s program in their Global Studies department.  This is always something I’ve been really interested in, and I live in a good area for it now, so why not?  I’m still looking for a job to work while I go back through school, but I’ve got some things cooking, and hopefully something will come through, soon.  :)

Sooooo that’s the main story arch of the last year or so.  How have you all been?

I tried playing Detroit become human but I can’t read the things that pop up fast enough so it just became this panicked rush of a mess where I would either frantically pick something before I finished reading or I would just run out of time :(

Also today is my birthday and this is me shamelessly asking for Happy Birthday wishes :D

Hi Everyone!  It’s been awhile!

I have a different blog I’ve been posting on, but I’m thinking about coming back to this one.
