A blog for darker evenings and misty days, full of autumn leaves and apples, ghosts and witches, folklore and fairytales. I update all year round, but most frequently at this time of year, and the blog is both an outlet for my love of autumn and Hallowe'en and a gathering place for art, from horror films to medieval woodcuts, that evokes the sinister, the mysterious and the otherworldly. This blog has a winter counterpart at now-winter-comes-slowly.
