I also thought I'd ask this question since I think I have an audience somewhat. I've always wanted to do a Q&A, so I thought I'd offer up a Charlotte-related Q&A since Hearts of Gold is done and now we've moved on to Shadows and Gold.

While this poll will finish while I'm on vacation, I'll definitely check in on it every once in a while. *Crawls out of my pit of lacking motivation* I HAVE RETURNED. CHARLOTTE'S BACK!

I'm so sorry it took me so long to write this first chapter! As that opening suggested, I've been really struggling to feel motivated to do...Well, just about everything. But I'm starting to get back into it (I'm almost done with the next page of my comic, so I should hopefully be able to post that before the end of the day)! Hoping to get out one more chapter and post some more art before I go on vacation on the 28th, but we'll have to see.

The first chapter of my new Charlotte fic, Shadows and Gold, is now on Ao3! Please enjoy Chapter 1: As My World Burns!

A quick summary in case you've forgotten what the hell this fic is actually about (it's been a hot second since I mentioned it): Six years before the Knighting Ceremony, Queen Valerian has been murdered. Having been framed for the queen's murder, Charlotte Corova is forced to flee from the Institute along with her half-brother, Ambrosius Goldenloin. While the duo struggles to survive as the kingdom hunts them down, friends and allies search for the truth to clear their names.

Chapter 13: A Trio Reunion is up on Ao3 and yes, that means exactly what you think it does! The band is back together, baby! I'm so, so excited! We're getting into some stuff that I posted in bits on tumblr, but I've been changing things up, so it's a fresh take! Next chapter, we dive into the canon movie stuff and I'm pumped! Next stop, arm chopping not being a love language, toot toot!

Finally, though, Chapter 12: What Knights Should Be is now up on Ao3! Lots of fun stuff in there. Like lesbians and Nimona. And babies! Wonderful time all around. I should be able to get the next chapter up by next Sunday (I have a lot of it written already anyway). I'm very excited for the coming chapters! Woo!

Hiiii! Not much to say tonight. I'm hoping for another good week (it's supposed to be warm and there's a fucking eclipse tomorrow, so those seem look good signs?)

Chapter 11: Chari is on Ao3! I finished it just in time! It just starts violent and bloody, and then it's pretty mild the rest of the time. Charlotte gets to beat people up and adopt street orphans, if you're interested. Working on chapter 12 and planning to have Nimona make her grand appearance in it. Woo!

Hello hello hello! I'm in the final hours of my spring break and then I just have five more weeks before I finish the semester! Woo!

By some miracle, I managed to finish Chapter 10: Rock Bottom on time! It's pretty angsty, like last chapter, but this should be the end of the worst of the angst (for the time being). I'm working on chapter 11 at the moment and so far it's violent and bloody, so that's fun! Look forward to that.

I'm home because I had a dentist appointment on Friday. Spent the day filming my dogs for a short documentary I'm making for school. But anyway.

EDIT: By the way, just thought I'd say something. IT'S MY BIRTHDAY ON FRIDAY! No idea if I'll do anything, but I'd like to!

After proofreading while doing my nails and spending the entire afternoon working on like twenty different things, I return! The next chapter is here on this lovely 1:50 AM. Chapter 5: Trio to Quartet is alive and very long in comparison to the last two chapters. I like her! It's gay and wholesome, two of my favorite things. Almost done with chapter 8 and then I will dive straight into angst with chapter 9. Worried that my posting schedule is catching up with me but I'm trying my best, okay?

I was very clearly sick in my last chapter update because look at those typos. Anywho, I've been home all weekend with my family, spending the night and returning to school tomorrow morning. I have another chapter for you, though! Chapter 4: Young Love is up on Ao3 and it's very cute and gay and WOO GAY-LESBIAN SOLIDARITY. Still working on chapter 8 because it's a longer one. It's very sweet right now but we are steering ever closer to the angst. BEWARE.

Heyyy babes. I feel like shit because allergies decided to arrive early this year. Still posted a chapter though because I MUST. Chapter 3: Of Birthdays and Gifts of Every Kind is now available on Ao3. Very wholesome, yes yes. I'm very excitedly working on chapter 8 at the moment because it's going down. Hello, here I am a week later, as promised. Here is Chapter 2: Trio of my Nimona OC Fanfic, Hearts of Gold. It's a bit shorter but still very cute. I love my kids. I'm working on a little side project at the moment, but that should be done pretty soon and I'll be back to working on the next chapter (Chapter 7). Also looking to work on another Charlotte piece to post for y'all, so someone please badger me about it because otherwise I won't do it.
