It was so funny after the Atleti - Barca match. One second they're fighting over the ball, putting tackles in and the next they're all hugging each other

It's one of my favourite things about women's football, how they're opponents until the end for 90 minutes but after the whistle blows they're all close friends with shared experiences and troubles and motivations which unite them so many more than a club's badge could divide them

For the ballon d'or? It's *supposed* to be measuring your performance throughout the year including all official matches so also club level games. However, it's especially an issue within women's football that the assessments only seem to be made on the big matches and big names, ie. International tournaments and finals and what not as this is what is most watched. Which is why these awards are a bit of a scam really

They got together not too soon before covid hit and were pretty vocal about it up until misa signed for madrid. Then they made the conscious effort of hiding it on their own sm most likely because of the rm-barca hate/homophobia that would coming from the mainstream club fans aka those who when they talk about the club they only mean rm/barca men.

Since then wbk that leila was in Madrid or on holiday with Misa through other people tagging them in stuff but I haven't seen an update in a while. I don't think we're fully in the know to make assumptions either way really
