Seven seasons of Voyager means those characters accompanied me for seven years. That's why so many people are attached to shows and characters.
Bring back appointment television. Let people savor a show. Let people take their time to trip to figure out a plot spend a week discussing it in forums.
Writing fic, creating art, forming an actual fandom that will last longer than a month.
We need full seasons that last the year, with summer off. And season premieres that were special
Give us actual spoiler-free entertainment back.
And physical media. Give it to us. Stop. Supporting. The. Streaming. Model. It’s killing the entertainment business and it’s killing fandoms.
