SPIDER-MAN 2 was released 20 years ago today (June 30th, 2004)

Ive waited for a long time to draw him! No way Home was just AAaahhh!! chief kiss of a movie 😍 so when i saw my favorite Spiderman villain come back from the dead and then have a redemption….Of course i had to draw him!! So yeah, Otto was so fun to illustrate with the turtleneck 🥰 but i really need to practice chubby body types…wanted to give him more muffins ;v; but failed a bit.

Alfred Molina as Dr. Otto Octavius (Doc Ock) in Spider-Man 2 (2004)

THE DOC OCK PRINTS ARE FINALLY HERE!!! I did a small run of these a few months ago, but I just printed off some more and HOLY MOLY THEY LOOK SO GOOD!!! I used the same printer as the farquaad prints and oughhhhhh they did such a good job. My goal was to try to imitate the look of the original as closely as possible. I chose some watercolor paper with some nice texture, and I made it the same size as the original. And lemme tell you man, I couldn't ask for better. I'm just super pumped about these. They are up for sale and ready to go in my bigcartel store! As always, I'll include small drawings with each order; with these they'll be doc themed of course. >:)

SUCCESSFUL BANK HEIST DOC OCK FOR @thefunkyfrogking!! This drawing would not exist if it weren't for them commissioning me, and I am SO happy they did!! I had a blast drawing this and I'm super happy with how it turned out. Plus, this gave me an excuse to rewatch Spiderman 2 (and do one of these: "😳" every time this guy popped up on screen).

Just thinking about how Doc Ock changes his glasses throughout Spider-Man 2. I imagine he just stole them but I thought it was funnier if he's casually shopping despite the freakish appendages. He really chose to be a fashion icon before fighting Spider-Man
