If I see one more fuckin “Its woke to not care about 3,000 innocent people dying in 9/11 because it was soooo long ago and more people died in other events so basically 9/11 doesnt matter and is just imperialist propaganda” I’m gonna have a fucking aneurysm.
How heartless do you have to be to make a post saying people should care LESS about a horrific tragedy? Are you guys just so obsessed with appearing the most radical that you’re willing to call the mass murder of Three Thousand People nothing more than propaganda? What the ever loving fuck is wrong with you people?? You can care about multiple tragedies at once. You don’t have to diminish one in order to care about the others.
And yes, 9/11 has been used for islamaphobic and imperialist propaganda. But thats not the fault of the 3,000 people that were killed. It’s the fault of the politicians who attempted to capitalize off of it. And to act as though the only reason people would still find 9/11 tragic is because of imperialism is just absolutely heartless.
