“not watching something” is genuinely the bare minimum. it’s the simplest boycott that could be asked of you.
when film companies start realizing that the reason their sales are tanking is because they’re casting war criminals, they’ll stop hiring them, Inshallah. but in order to do that you have to not give them your money.
i don’t wanna hear that “someone else will do it to make up for it” mentality because i promise you’re not the only person who’s thinking that way, and then we’re back at square one. boycotts have to be taken seriously collectively or else they’re less effective.
use that theater ticket money to donate to a palestinian fundraiser instead.
I get the point of this post but it's very funny to call out the MCU when Gal Gadot's main big role, Wonder Woman, is a DCEU property
You can boycott the MCU too, they are for sure obsessed with the US military industrial complex, but Gal Gadot has never had any Marvel roles nor does she have any upcoming ones.
If you're thinking of the fact that the MCU has an Israeli character for propaganda purposes in the new Captain America, that role has gone to a different Israeli actress that you should also avoid the work of: Shira Haas.
