just thinking about how way back in 2010 when Santana wasn’t even really a character yet and Brittana were a complete joke and Naya Rivera was asked who she thought Santana would end up with she said “I think Brittany is her soulmate. I think that they should end up together… they’re in love.” and she continued to insist that Brittany and Santana’s feelings were a serious thing despite the fact that lesbians in mainstream media especially teenage ones were not a thing and with her immense talent she probably would’ve gotten 3 times the amount of screentime if she would’ve shut up and let Santana be a straight girl who hooks up with her bff cause boys think it’s hot but she didn’t. she saw people on the internet flock to her after that “if it [sex] were Santana and I would be dating” joke and she took us seriously when 99% of actors wouldn’t have. god I wish I would’ve appreciated her more while she was here.
