Tried playing around with a 3D sculpting program. I think it turned out alright.

This is an art program suggested to me on a advertisement ( mistake number one was clicking it at all ) so I decided to give it a try. Cause why not?
The trail is free for fifteen days. Outside that they want $29 for it. That didn’t seem ridulous to ask for a good quality program. It took close to TEN MINUTES JUST TO OPEN.
Once I started fooling around with some of the brushes and effects it continuously lagged to the point where it was dragging all over the screen and I had to stop and wait for it to catch up. I had NOTHING ELSE RUNNING BUT THIS PROGRAM and two tabs on firefox. Probably what frustrated me the most, however, was the stupid time out. A session would expire after a certain amount of time and a window would keep popping up saying “sorry you’re trail has expired” every 3-5 seconds. Not even kidding.
The tools and features themselves are nothing special. Sure, the blending options are nice. You have a lot to choose from when it comes to texture and opacity, and the starter paint brush has a nice effect when doing line art ( as shown above ) but it’s honestly NOTHING I COULDN’T GET IN OTHER PROGRAMS. When you expand brush size over a certain amount the whole program freezes as it struggles to load in what you swiped.
All and all I am really disappointed in this program and will NOT be recommending it or spending any money on the full version.
2/10 And the two is ONLY for the fancy brushes.

In honor of the film being released on DVD today, here is my finished illustration for the furyroadfanzine ( This is not Max/Furiosa. It’s just them supporting each other as they strive to achieve the same goal: Redemption )
I’ll be posting it again with a kickstarter link once it’s up so stay tuned! :)
