This art is so beautiful and celebrates a lesser-known part of DR’s canon, and yet: Chiaki Nanami is never seen or even hinted at (in either form) in Danganronpa Zero, and there at least five other characters who DO play a role in Zero who aren’t portrayed. (Kamukura, for that matter, also never appears - but at least they talk about him.)
So that’s a really weird choice… to include someone who isn’t in it at all and pass over multiple better options. I’m wondering what the artist meant to convey by doing that?
Ships? Chiaki’s not even mentioned in DR0, unlike Izuru. But the art is really nice!

Are you serious right now? I’m a fully certified neurosurgeon. I can break into people’s heads and rewire their brains and tamper with their memory, no problem. But this? This juice box? This sugary drink marketed for eight year olds? No. Sticking a straw into this juice container is apparently just too much for me to handle without fucking it up. I’m done. I quit. Goodbye.

Even knowing who they grow up to be, I still think this is adorable.
