Dangan Ronpa MBTI: Masaru Daimon [ESFP]

Functional Order: Se-Fi-Te-Ni

Extroverted Sensing: Masaru loves physical activities; his Ultimate title is “Lil’ Ultimate PE” because he’s the best at all of them. He’s excitable, loud and impulsive, having the personality of a hot-headed shounen protagonist. He wants to be the big hero, and thinks of himself as one. In a horrible way, he also enjoys the ‘game’ the children play of killing adults.

Introverted Feeling: He genuinely cares about the children he leads, wanting to create a paradise so they won’t be afraid anymore. For that, he’s willing to follow ethics that can loosely be described as ‘terrible’; he’s a terrorist who helps murder the adults in Towa City. Masaru also tries to keep his feelings locked up, refusing to admit fear because a hero isn’t supposed to be afraid.

Extroverted Thinking: His aux-Te is pretty underdeveloped, possibly because of his young age. Masaru doesn’t really do any critical thinking or planning, just goofing off or boldly proclaiming he’s the hero. He has an immature way of thinking and doesn’t have a big filter on his mouth, openly saying things like “boys are better than girls”.

Introverted Intuition: Masaru doesn’t have a whole lot of foresight; he acts the most like a child out of the Warriors of Hope, and doesn’t treat the situation in Towa City with gravitas. He thinks he can’t lose because he’s ‘the hero’, and the hero never loses. He does genuinely know what his dream is, but he follows Monaca and Junko’s visions on how to get to it than his own.

if he hadn’t been requested I honestly wouldn’t have done him at all. He’s got three scenes for me to pick apart. Three! So yeah, if this seems a little ‘grasping at straws’, it probably is.

Hypothetical DR x Heathers Crossover

DR x Heathers seems to be a thing I see around a lot (at least on YouTube). I actually do like Heathers, and since I rewatched it recently (and have been fighting to keep the songs out of my head) I decided to take my shot at it. Just for fun.

First up, the most important character! What? No, not Veronica, that’s silly!

Tsumugi Shirogane as Heather Duke

If Monaca were their age, she would totally have this spot. As is, this is still pretty fitting. Tsumugi wants to be a “cosplaycat mastermind”, aka makes her life goal mimicking Junko. Once Heather C dies, Heather D follows in her footsteps. Until then, she appears to be relatively meek compared to the other Heathers. 

Mikan Tsumiki as Heather McNamara

honestly I was pretty torn between Mukuro and Mikan here. Mikan is more sympathetic, like Heather M, but Mukuro is a more willing participant in what Junko does (re: didn’t need to be brainwashed into despair). Ultimately I picked Mikan because Mukuro’s canonically unrepentant. I do think Mikan might fit as Veronica, too, but there’s someone better...
