No matter what happens today or this week - Christ is King.
So I got this family from church I'm friends with, and when they told me their kid was getting into TPN, I got very excited.
That excitement quickly turned to fear and dread when I then found out they just started Season 2 and seemed adamant to finish it.
#Yakusoku no Neverland#The Promised Neverland#I begged the kid's parents to make her stop by Episode 3 before it went to The Great Divergence Point and to read the manga afterwards#The parents are also veteran anime/manga fans so they said they'll try to find some way to steer her towards the manga at least

one of the worst feelings in fandom is when the canon version of a character is one of your favorites ever but their fanon interpretation is just something you want to dropkick into a dying star and watch it all go supernova hopefully from close enough that it will obliterate you and your memory of what the fandom did to them in the process
bonus points if people accuse depictions that adhere to their canon personality of "being OOC" or make "but the council has decided" style arguments in favor of the fanon personality

Please pray for the people in the Philippines affected by Typhoon Kristine; those in Bicol that did not have the means to evacuate, those that were not sufficiently warned about the dangers of the upcoming typhoon, those that are not being sufficiently aided by the government, those that have families in the affected area of Bicol, and the souls of those that have passed.
so far, 85 people have died, 70 are missing, and half a million families are displaced. most of these deaths are reported by the local police in the affected areas to be due to drowning. please keep them in your prayers, especially as Typhoon Leon just entered the Philippine Area of Responsibility (PAR), and has the potential to make landfall on Northern Luzon.
