Wondering how to destroy a double bass?

1. Get a bass. Preferably a really expensive bass. A double bass provides exceptional smashing sounds.
2. Raise the bass well over the head and use your bodyweight to create maximal damage. This is crucial for the smashing sound.
3. SMASH THAT FUCKER! it’s an advantage that the surface is hard. A few thousand tons of rock is perfect. Feel free to try this at home too. But preferably on the concrete floor in the basement. Also, make sure that no one is nearby, they can get splinters in their feet.
4. WUMP-Kapanga!! SPLING … Instant death. See how nicely the bass parts in the middle? Øyvind Storesund has done this before. Something he taught after many years in the crazy world that is improv jazz.
