funniest thing in the entire episode was Eddie professing solidarity with Buck over his temptation to contact an ex, my dude you need a seance to get a hold of the first one, the second one you dumped over a massive bowl of lukewarm fruit salad and the last one definitely blocked your ass after she caught you in a situationship straight out of a Hitchcock movie, I guarantee you never texted any of those women

maybe unpopular opinion but i think you should be as positive as you want to be. keep your hopes up, keep them down. whatever. it’s a tv show, this is the lowest of all stakes. also, there’s people who despite literally every sign pointing towards “that’s not going to happen!” are insistent that it will and you have to remind yourself that at the very least, you’re closer to getting what you want than they are.

remember when henren went on their adventure to get karen's wallet back? i need another lite storyline like that. when was the last time we got to see them have fun???

alternatively, maybe a Han-Wilson double date where madney announces their pregnancy to henren first. and maybe hen and maddie have a conversation because maddie knows how hen felt the last time she and chimney took the next step and she wants to reassure her that they've promised to communicate this time to make sure what happened doesn't happen again.

or a conversation between maddie and karen because the last time karen tried to get pregnant it wasn't successful and she knows what maddie went through last time and wants to reiterate that she's there should maddie ever need anything.

or a conversation between hen and chim because hen was at the curb just a couple years ago asking chimney if he wanted company to go and bring maddie back, and similar to the proposal situation, she's concerned about what could happen, but this time she's there to tell chim that they're there for them, that he and maddie have extra support because they're a family and no matter what happens they'll have somewhere to land should things get hard.

the thing is . . . if i was ga, watching without looking up interviews or anything, kinda like the way I watch the other shows, I would absolutely be expecting them to get back together, right? like just going by the story, it feels like they are getting back together because you ended the breakup like that, made character A spend the whole episode wanting to call and then showed character B typing and deleting a text. is it clowning or going by just how much the ga sees, we were never done in the first place? like the only damning thing about this breakup is what I can find in the interviews
