respawn and apex fandom stop watering down mirage to the “clown man heehee” when he’s even. he has a voice line that basically says that he uses jokes as coping. there’s a deeper meaning to him other than the “dumbass funny”

while it's the future or w/e realistically bloodhound would likely have a nosepiece and o2 tubing while in their own home, right? or at least a more comfortable version of their game gear
I like to imagine that mirage can and would research every little part of it and stockpile essential and/or hard-to-find-replacements-for sort of pieces when he gets to a certain point of being their friend or partner. Like it's one thing to know your friends middle name or their favourite obscure childrens movie. But it's another to have an emergency stockpile of replacement medical supplies should it be needed
Really want to work on some Miragehound fics this weekend. I have two that are really close to being finished (but I keep putting off actually doing it and posting them). Can anyone help give me the motivation? Reblog/comment with either 🌃 or 💞 to decide which fic I buckle down and finish!

I'm back at it again.
Had this in my WIP for about a month; but I've finally gotten around to finishing it. Woohoo!
I just really love the idea of Elliott and Bloodhound dancing together in the bar after hours, when no one else is around, or in one of their apartments. I also have a headcanon that Bloodhound has some tattoos, one of which is on their forearm - it's a Norse Rune that means Strength.

Elliott tells his mom he’s started dating Bloodhound, and he’s nervous bringing them home, and they’re nervous because they never actually had to do the whole “meet the parent(s)” thing, but when it comes down to it they sit and talk and it’s actually nice, Evelyn’s sweet and makes the same bad jokes as her kid, but it’s comforting.
And then before they leave, Evelyn says “I will remember to set another place at the table from now on.”
Bloodhound barely makes it to the car before they start crying. Elliott barely made it out the door.

Calling all my fellow Mirage/ Elliott Witt lovers. I am dabbling with the idea of writing an Apex fanfic involving our handsome, charming boy. But I need some ideas for a few situations and/or incidents where he's less than... shall we say, graceful and smart? I'm looking for suggestions on moments of him "screwing up" or doing something silly/stupid. This isn't a hate fic! It will all make sense once it's done (assuming I actually finish it, heh). So any suggestions or headcanons, ect, would be appreciated!
