I mean granted there's a definite creepy factor to it all, but it's really nice to get encouraging messages from people who don't know you or to find a blog from someone you've never met, lives entirely too far away to, but is still at least very interesting on screen.
I'm not saying we should drop our friends for followers, but it's a nice little feeling of community even if the internet is pretty much endless.
