Bernie has won New Hampshire, Colorado, Minnesota, Oklahoma, Vermont, Kansas, and Nebraska.

Hillary has won Iowa, Nevada, South Carolina, Alabama, Arkansas, Georgia, Massachusetts, Tennessee, Texas, Virginia, and Louisiana. 

It is important to remember that the majority of Clinton’s wins are also southern, conservative states. The further we get into the primaries, the more liberal states will be voting for Sanders.

Saying this, please, please, please go out and vote. Bernie is beginning to win multiple states that Hillary was predicted to win, so do not let that discourage you.

I hate couponers.

I’m a cashier and this shift, I was put on the Express Lanes so I’m already in a bad mood.  Express Lanes suck because no one pays attention to the 10 items or less rule.  I see this lady pull up with a cart full of stuff, so I’m in a worse mood.  But then I recognize her.  She’s a regular coupon scammer that pulls into the Express Lanes with a ton of junk then pulls out a ton of wrong coupons to fluster the cashier, especially new ones or trainees.  I’ve dealt with her before but she must not recognize me, so she’s going to try her to get away with it.

Spoiler alert: She does not.

I scan all her items and she quickly puts her bags into her cart so I can’t look through them and hands me a stack of coupons.  I pick up the first coupon and scrutinize it carefully.  It’s for a buy one, get one free shampoo, excluding trial sizes.  I know she only got trial sizes.

“Ma'am, can I see what shampoo this is for?”

“You can scan the coupon. It’ll come off.”

I know it will.  Our registers are stupid.  But I’m not falling for it and I’m going to take as much of her time as I can.  “This is for full size shampoo. Did you get some of those?”

She looks furious.  She knows she’s wrong.  She mumbles something and takes back the coupons for the shampoos.  I slowly grab the next coupon, same scenario but with toothpaste.

“Ma'am, can I see what toothpaste this is for?”

She angrily huffs the same thing how I should just scan it, that’s what everyone else does, blah blah blah.  I’m not in the mood today.  I just repeat what I say with a pleasant fake customer service voice and a smile.  She takes the coupon back, defeated.  I continue to do this with every single coupon she has, smiles and all.  It probably takes 30+ minutes.  In the end, she only gets maybe $2 off her total instead of the ridiculous amount she usually gets.  I called it a victory and then went on my break.
