The whirlwind romance and engagement of Ariana Grande and Pete Davidson has seemingly captivated fans around the world this summer. Their relationship has been in the spotlight since their first public outing as a couple, and the buzz around them hasn’t slowed down one bit. However, the Pariana romance may not be as much of a whirlwind as we think — it turns out Ariana had a vision of their future coupling several years ago.
While chatting with Jimmy Fallon on Thursday night's episode of The Tonight Show, Ariana talked about her newly-released, long-anticipated album Sweetener. Of course, during the talk, Jimmy asked how she and Pete met, and that's when Ariana revealed that she actually predicted a while ago that she’d be marrying Pete.
“We met on SNL two or three years ago,” Ariana told Jimmy. “We never exchanged numbers, we weren't even friends for the longest time. I had the biggest crush in the world on him for a long time, like forever. I left his writer's room ... and my tour manager was in the hallway — and I'm not like a crush-y person. I don't have crushes on people I don't know. But I left and I like jokingly said to my tour manager, I said, 'I'm marrying him, 100%. I'm literally marrying him.' We weren't even friends. I didn't even see him at the after party!”
