Maybe one of the best surprises I've found in this show that I genuinely did NOT expect, is Sauron's sense of humor, or little moments that made me laugh. He's the Big Bad, the Dark Lord, the Abhorred, and yet--

Just a happy little prisoner watching his She-Elf cause trouble.

"And how close are you and the She-Elf?"

"Don't forget your women."

Kill Mode Activated

"How fares your progress?"

*100% done with your shit*

Halbrand: "Do try not to make any new enemies."

Also Halbrand: *5 minutes later*

Personal Space with Galadriel

VS Personal Space with Everyone Else

Just a Normal Dude, trying to have a good time

I'm sorry but I love him, Your Honor.

Slight ITSOFF spoiler: I just edited/improved a scene in which Master Gaunt has impaled a table with a stake knife

(Why has he done that? Because he's a Gaunt and he can... he's also terrorizing somebody too. Again because he can, as he's a Gaunt)

And all I can think of is that moment in Hunger Games where Katniss stabs the placemat on the table and Effie is all 'That's Mahogany!'

Just reading Stormbreaker (Alex Rider) after reading Oblivion (The Power of Five), and there’s the Smallpox Virus that was hiding in the Stormbreakers. Anthony Horowitz has confirmed in the past that both Alex and Matt’s stories are happening in the same world—this one—and I can’t help but recall the unknown Virus that was released in London and the other major cities in Oblivion over in The Power of Five books. The Nexus said they didn’t know what it was, only that it was deadly and it was in the air.

Alex mentioned that the Smallpox Virus was modified to kill within minutes, much faster and more lethal than normal. It would be released into the air, and schoolchildren would die within moments...

In Oblivion, London and other cities were hit by a dirty bomb that contained an unknown virus that killed people so quickly and lethally that they didn't even have time to fall down. They died standing up on trains, died at their wheels, and died in the streets.

It's this the same Virus?...

Scorpia likely would love to help the Old Ones. They are both rotten tonthe core and love choas. No one knew who the people were who bombed the UK, only that they were terrorists. It was not the Triads who were fighting the Old Ones. Nightrise was causing suffering elsewhere.

It's likely the UK government held all vials of the virus somewhere safe, as it couldn't be destroyed, likely because of the risk it posed. The government may have stored it away somewhere hidden, but it didn't matter in the end as the Old Ones took over the government and the police. They had taken over everything. So if the virus really was still in storage somewhere in the UK, they would have found it and used it.
