rewatching etho's decked out 2 videos again
This is what the Dungeon Master's Hideout is for, right?
the consciousness of decked out has actually been split into three pieces between the members of the Deepfrost Court. the pieces that became a postal service and a factory are confused but not as confused as the part that's becoming Frogger
okay but its actually insane how well the pieces that they ended up with line up with their relationship to the Citadel
like. Pearl, the Queen. the one who made it her goal to understand the dungeon, to figure out its secrets and messages. her fragment of the dungeon is reincarnated into the postal system, a system for sending messages, and a system that she has to teach the other hermits to use - having grown to understand the dungeon, she wants to share that understanding with the others.
Tango, the Master. the one who built the dungeon with his own hands, the only one who knows how it works behind the scene. his fragment is reincarnated into his factory, a system that shares the complex wiring, the mechanical guts of the dungeon, and that exists to create more redstone components - in a way, existing to perpetuate itself, to make more and more machines.
Etho, the Champion. the one who played the game, the one who wanted to win the dungeon's challenge. he was in it for the competition and he carried that to the end. his fragment is reincarnated into the game of Frogger - it shares the ravagers, the competition and reward, the quick thinking and quicker movement that Etho mastered. all the things that made Decked out a game follow the one who won that game.
its just so insanely perfect sdfksd;ljfalskdj;lk

Everyone welcome the Queen of Decked Out!!
This design has been rattling around in my brain for the past few days but finals delayed me actually being able to draw it. I had a lot of fun incorporating Pearl's different outfits and all the little references to Decked Out, see if you can spot them!
Rusty repair
Tang Tang...Little Tangy
ft. Scar, Cub, Etho, Jevin, and Tango
Scar: I once thought Tang Tang said that that door in the kneeling room was broken. Did he fix that? Maybe I might be imagining things. Cub: Tang Tang. That's what we're calling him now? All right. Scar: Ha, Tang Tang? I don't know. This is my delirious thoughts right now just calling him Tang Tang. Etho: Tang Tang ^^ I could get used to that. Jev: Poor little Tang Tang. Tango: That is not Dungeon Master approved. (all laugh) Scar: And the man arrives! [...] Etho: We could call him Little Tangy. (scar and etho laugh) Scar: You're gonna get one less shard, Etho. Etho: (laughs) Regardless. Tango: It's gonna be eight less.
(tonight's jevin stream)
Can everyone thank Scar's mother for me
I’m going to miss the decked out lobby shenanigans so much
About 20 min into Etho’s phase 8 video there’s a bit where he menaces Scar with a netherite hoe. Scar swipes the shard Etho buys from the crown shop. The phrase “you are fertile for the picking” appears in chat. Hypno’s commentating. Tango lurks unseen within the walls
He menaces Scar with _two_ netherite hoes.
the queen of decked out!
shenanigans from the stream :D
