I know peoples attention spans and FOMO and etc have an impact but take this case study for why you must just stop supporting and engaging the bigots.

  • Musk buys companies and pretends to be its founder.
  • Musk amasses unimaginable wealth and a weird fandom
  • Musk uses said wealth and notoriety to run an illegal lottery and targeted ad campaigns to divide the population even more to both ensure trump’s election and his own ‘promotion’ from being CEO of at least (3?) companies into a government role

How could he do this?

  • Nobody bothered to off him, like when there was ample opportunity to do so when he entered Twitter HQ and mass fired people. Mommy didn’t love him enough as a child.
  • Despite his bullshit, people kept/keep buying Tesla, buying/selling with PayPal (I can’t find anything about if he’s still earning money from this), supporting starlink, and using Twitter.

trans people who whine about how actually they DON'T want legal sex taken off legal documents because it makes them feel VALIDATED or helps them PASS astound me to no end. why a trans person would want the legal structure of assigned sex to continue baffles me endlessly. like yeah lets continue to legally enshrine the system that violently imposes gendered upbringings and violence upon us sure yeah uh huh. this will work out for us
