Here’s the full step-by-step tutorial of how we made Dragon Symmetra’s head! It’s made from Worbla’s KobraCast, upholstery foam, aluminium foil, 2 mm ClueyFoam and SEALPrime with airbrush paints. It weighs around 400 grams and it is very comfortable. Most of this stuff can be found at CosplayClues!
[ Easy to hug too. When not worn, it looks like a little caterpillar ;) ]
"Those who fall to Nightmare, can never return to the Dream. They can remove themselves from Nightmare, but they cannot remove the Nightmare from themselves." I am so SUPER STOKED about the new Caithe and Faolain outfits from Guild Wars 2 and we went shopping for fabrics and materials and I was all like I reaaallyy wanna do a make-up test for Faolain again. It's been a while, but it really does help that I've practiced the Sylvari a couple times now and have worked with this kind of make-up for Mystique as well. :D No photoshop, it was literally like this on my face x'D As you can see in that happy thumbs-up picture as I was derping in front of the camera, ahem. Tools of the trade were just four Kryolan colours; black, white, mossgreen and some midgrey. Then just a sponge, some brushes and some q-tips. :) Took me about an hour and a half to do, which is fairly reasonable. ^__^
