To be honest I find it really ironic that Neah, who’s the Noah of Destruction and did some pretty fucked up shit has a beautiful wheat field as his inner world, and then there’s Allen who couldn’t hurt a fly and always sees some post-apocalyptic scene of disaster.

I’m going to be a suikoden nerd here and say we’re probably dealing with dharma and chaos. 

“ This is a world of silence universally reigned by the power of dharma, the orderly cosmos."  - Luke

A world of dharma, or “absolute peace”, is a world without humans. A barren existence that’s represented by a world of nothingness, void of humanity. Because humanity is chaos incarnate. 

In short: the empty beautiful wheat field is dharma: ultimate peace without humanity. Neah, being the noah of destruction, it would make sense that he would aim for a world of dharma, sans humans. Allen’s world is chaos: a dark existence where humanity exists but you have to fight for it.

or so I believe.
