working on a list of LGBT+ book recs, and seems like a great time to remind y'all that Project 2025 targets queer and BIPOC books especially
AND, as much as capitalism sucks, the best way to help out right now is to remind our corporate overlords that they want these books because they make MONEY
because when the government tries to take away their moneymakers? they don't like that (we've already had publishers announce plans to sue to fight back against book banning in the past... and are their motives pure? no, but I'll take ANYTHING)
your $$$, no matter how much you can afford, matters when it comes to this; and if you can't afford to buy right now, borrow from your libraries (that makes pubs money too, especially ebook and audiobook licenses) and promote promote promote
