Hey everyone! I figured It was about time to update my commissions stuff! Commissions for me are always open, and I’ll do just about anything so long as you go over it with me first.
I’m currently out of a job, so any amount of money helps me do things like eat and get gas for my daily school drives. If you’d like a commission just message me here and we can get you set up!

can we just talk about the character development in arms outstretched for a second?
first there’s merle, the failed cleric and deadbeat dad, who is canonically jealous of every competent person gets close to his team. who sees his two boys leave him - one possessed, one unconscious. but merle doesn’t give up, because he knows he can save them. he has faith in himself, that he can get them back. he summons up a sixth level spell - which was, i think, the highest spell slot he had at the time - and pulls both magnus and taako back from death.
then magnus, the steadfast warrior, who has lived for love so many times and had it ripped away from him just as often. he’s dying, and he knows that if he dies he’ll get to see julia, and that’s all he’s ever wanted for years - to be reunited with his beloved wife. but he doesn’t go quietly. he says i want to get back to my body, i have to help my friends, and with the family he’s found in merle and taako, decides to live.
and taako. taako, who doesn’t even have a heart. he looks at a clearly-possessed magnus, a terrified merle, and throws his soul out of his body. not only is he not sure whether he’ll be able to get magnus back, but there is no guarantee that he’ll have a body to return to - edward and lydia could easily destroy it while he’s gone. and then he’d be dead, just like magnus may well be. but he does it anyway. he puts himself in danger on the slight chance he can save magnus. even though he professes to trust no one, even though he doesn’t remember his own heart, he makes a desperate grab for the person he’s come to call a friend.
arms outstretched really was a defining moment of this podcast. not only did it set the tone for the finale - this is the ending you earned - but it showed how our boys react in dire situations. when things look bleakest, they turn to each other.
I’ve missed doing typography designs, so when coming up with ideas for my next project, I of course had to look no further than The Adventure Zone.
griffin tried so fucking hard to kill magnus and was thwarted every time by the power of love. first he tried to make the chalice consume him. magnus countered that with his love for julia. then he tried to make the entire astral plane pull him to his death, and the mcelroys gave us the arms outstretched sequence, which was literally taako and merle both going hey god? hey, god? fuck you. this is our ruff boi and you can’t have him. griffo literally had to resort to asking travis “how do i kill your fucking character” because magnus was too hard to kill. your mistake, griffin, you made your podcast about the power of love and family and tried to kill the character who loves the easiest. what did you expect. he’s invincible.
The Adventure Zone turned 3 today seeing as how the first episode came out in 2014 and I want to personally thank the McElroy’s for providing us with a wonderful podcast full of comedy, fun times, beautiful beautiful boys, suspense, and of course adventure. Thank you so much!
