Spotify Rapped on My Chamber Door

Top Artists

  • The Birthday Massacre: My fave band of all time, so no surprise there. I’m in the top two percent of fans. 💜
  • Kordhell: First quarter of 2023, I got really into phonk. Like, trap music has been a mild interest for a while, but PHONK. Top genres are pop, that, then gym phonk, rock, dark trap, and drift phonk. Kordhell’s Beat Tape 1 and 2 are both great all the way through.
  • Lady Gaga: #3 ’cause I’ve been a Little Monster since The Fame and love pretty much all of her discography equally. More or less. Ditto for Melanie.
  • Kiraw: That voice. Him and Corpse. I get acid reflux when I’m not careful, but I still sound like a chipmunk. 🤔
  • Melanie Martinez: K-12 was an extension of Cry Baby (which I love), including aesthetic. But the tracks and movie weren’t as gripping. Portals, though! Not gonna review it in this post. But it even has a song about raspberry week! *something something* “Girl power.”

Top Songs

  • “808s and Goth Bitches” by Kiraw: As previously stated, I am a goth bitch. Of course I dig this song. It’s impossible to be still while this plays. 🏃🏻
  • “LIKE YXU WXULD KNXW (AUTUMN TREES)” by Kordhell, Scarlxrd, and Corpse Husband: Discovered this last year. It goes so hard. Want another collab between these three so, so much.
  • “Maggot” by Slutever: Was on a recommended rock playlist. Got played an assload of times January through March. Haven’t listened to much else by them.
  • “2077” by do not resurrect: This was on a lot of recommend playlists.
  • “MURDER IN MY MIND”: My first Kordhell song. Initially listened to on Soundcloud.

Oh man so I have a request and it’s a weirder one. Soo Galactus is an alien, sorta villain, and slight monster all in one. Are you willing to do a Yandere oneshot on him maybeee? Big hungry magenta man is underrated in fanfics overall and I’m thirsty for some content. Reader can be any gender you choose and honestly go stirr crazy on the scenario and what’s going on if you wanna.

He’s not even that weird compared to a lot of the characters I’ve done requests for. Seriously, if you started rattling off pop culture monsters I’d go on dates with, I’d pick like 20% of them. Probably. Just let me find a comic chapter to read first.

Adding Galactus to the list of characters/people who have hats I want:

  • Cell from Dragon Ball Z
  • Lady Gaga (The telephone one, which I have a poster of.)
  • Harvesters from Independence Day
  • the Hitcher from The Mighty Boosh (In case I got hungry, but I’d replace the Polo Mints with mini bagels.)
  • Poisandra from Power Rangers

Updates

  • I was going to take my dog to get blessed at the Blessing of the Animals but she’s too naughty. Maybe next year.
  • My birthday’s on the 20th! Might treat myself to a Roomba because my puppy keeps attacking the vacuum.
  • October means we can all dress like miscreants and nobody can say anything. Can’t criticize crossbones tights or ‘80s horror movie apparel when someone put out Saw decorations. Speaking of which, I might go as Amanda Young for Halloween.
  • I forgot to renew my prescription on time, so I’m off the pill until my period starts again. Boo.
  • Job hunting.
  • Currently watching: American Horror Story: Death Valley, Buffy the Vampire Slayer, and How to Get away with Murder
  • Red Tide ended so climatically, but up until then it was the best AHS season in years. Hotel’s take on vampires wasn’t as interesting, even though it had Lady Gaga.
  • Death Valley seems kind of meh, but they talked about men getting their asses ate. 👍🏻
  • Almost done with season three of Buffy. I feel like Faith would get along well with Theo Raeken.
  • Just started season two of HTGAWM.

Any headcanon for the good boy der klown ?

Avatar
  • I like to think Klown is a species with at least a few different breeds. Like there’s an Easter variety. (I just think he’d look good in pastels.)
  • This variety doesn’t have live births, they give birth in what looks like Easter eggs. I like to think each clutch has its own unique design. Makes egg hunts more fun.
  • Der Klown himself is mostly impervious to the cold. Doesn’t mean he won’t snuggle for warmth, though.
  • If you tell him you’re hungry, he’ll capture some of those gingerbreadmen and gingersnap their gingerheads off for you to eat.
  • That’s all I have for now. Might think of more later.

Happy Good Friday. Can you tell I’m ready for Lent to be over? I gave up sweets and I’ve been waiting for Easter to eat Chromatica Oreos. 💗💚💗

Someone tagged me in this last week but I can’t remember who and it’d be a pain combing through notes. Sorry. ;_; I’ll just let anyone who wants to do this, do it. I know some people don’t want to be tagged by a N*SFW blog. XD Learning facts about people is fun.

1. I recently learned the term “deely bobber.”

Chromatica’s going in a direction I really like so far. If you haven’t already, please watch the vid for “Rain on Me.” I adore it so much. T_T Gaga’s outfit in the beginning made me love the music video as soon as it came on.

Happy World Goth Day last week, everybatty. I was too preoccupied to post about it on May 22nd. At least I slept in a Killstar t-shirt I got for my half-birthday. The skeleton’s expression kills me. On May 22nd I wore a striped white and light red pepperminty dress but also black under/wear, knee socks, and nail polish. So close enough.

Opera

Also known as Terror at the Opera. I watched this because I’m a sucker for obsessive stalker characters. Plus, giallo. It was definitely inspired by Phantom of the Opera. (I read the book last year but haven’t seen any cinematic adaptations yet.)

I would have preferred to watch it in Italian. I always use subtitles but the singing wasn’t translated. Who dubbed Alma? Hearing a grown woman’s voice coming from a little girl’s body was a little creepy.

Stefano being stabbed to metal music while Betty’s forced to watch. Except for the needles, or maybe in spite of the needles, hot. “It’s not true you’re frigid, you’re a b!tch on heat.” Why did she remove the tape over her mouth first? My eyes would have gotten so dry. Seriously, just look at the poster. Doesn’t that just make your eyeballs crispen?

Society

What’s worse than finding a worm in your apple? A whole clew of them.

Avatar

Earlier this week I was supposed to have a horror movie marathon with a friend and tonight I was supposed to go out. And, also thanks to the coronavirus, I’m not sure if I’m going into work for the next week or so. My hands are getting dry from all the washing. Also, I may have to break Lent now, ugh.

Good things:

  • Even though one of my friends is home from college because her school closed, we’ll probably get to hang out soon.
  • Lady Gaga released Stupid Love. Sometimes all a music video needs is a bunch of people in rad outfits dancing. I want her pink spiky belt. Chromatica comes out next month.
  • The Birthday Massacre’s Diamonds comes out this month. Two new albums from my favorite musical artists, yesh. Sadly they’ve had to postpone their American tour, though.
  • Yesterday I was down to clown and watched Joker and the first half of It: Chapter Two. The first one was fantastic and tied everything so neatly into Batman. Good job, DC. I already have Birds of Prey on hold at the library. Need more clown fuel. Tonight I’m going to finish It and read The World of It.
  • After reading the first three volumes of My Hero Academia, I have a crush on the handy guy in need of moisturizer.
  • Oracea seems to be working. I’m on my period but I haven’t really broken out.

Okay, movies I want to talk about!

My Phone Autocorrects “Padalecki” to “Paddlesack”

Busy getting ready for Thanksgiving. I’ll probably be able to do more requests next week. My friend wants to take me Black Friday shopping. I told her one of us has to wear the gyroscope from Bad Romance so other shoppers don’t come too close.

A few weeks ago I finished the first season of Supernatural. There are fourteen seasons to go, which means assloads of exophilia material. 🧜‍♂️

The problem with monster-of-the-week shows’ fandoms is that the monsters don’t get enough love. SPN actually has a good reason: Jared Padalecki and Jensen Ackles are bodacious. Their characters in My Bloody Valentine 3D and House of Wax 2005. ❤️ (I think I dozed off watching the Friday the 13th remake.)

Pilot

Years before I got a Tumblr, during Superwholock’s heyday, one of my buddies was a massive SPN fangirl. We both read Anna Dressed in Bl00d and she told me she was pissed because the author ripped off Supernatural’s first episode.

While I can’t remember much about the novel, I know the hitchhiking ghost is a popular urban legend. But I have no idea how many times that’s been adapted to other media.

Wendigo

I’ve seen wendigo utilized in Grimm, My Little Pony: Friendship Is Magic, Teen Wolf, Hannibal, and Pet Sematary. Still terrifying.

Dead in the Water

This episode just made me sad.

Phantom Traveler

Male possession yasss.

Bloody Mary

When I was in elementary school, my parents worked a lot so I went to before and after school programs. Rules were lax so we didn’t really worry about getting in trouble for telling spooky stories. When I was seven, a couple of my friends told me about Bloody Mary and I’ve been scared of haunted mirrors ever since. :D

(Mira Mira doesn’t count. Many people want to bang her. It takes away from her scariness.)

I don't know if you know this, but my relationship with American Horror Story is love-hate. Emphasis on the hate. What started out as my attempt at spiting people who wanted more "fun" comic book movies snowballed. Badly. But mostly it's directed at just Murder House and Apocalypse. Because, apparently, they're better than Beetlejuice and The Day After/Threads because "modern." Plus all the Twilight hypocrisy.

Avatar

My opinions on each season of American Horror Story.

  • Murder House: If this had been the first season I saw, I wouldn’t have bothered with the next one.
  • Asylum: Good.
  • Coven: This is the first season I watched completely and it ties with Freak Show for my fave. (Franken)Kyle is AHS bae. I just like witchcraft media a lot.
  • Freak Show: “Monsters among Us” was the first AHS episode I saw but it... freaked me out a lot so I ended up watching the previous season. (Which turned out to be about equally disturbing.) Dat aesthetic, dat portrayal of discrimination against deformed people, dat music.
  • Hotel: Even Lady Gaga couldn’t save this season. It had some good points, though.
  • Roanoke: Least fave. I thought we’d moved beyond haunted house?
  • Cult: Really good. The lack of a supernatural element actually helped. Despite the fact this was more *real* than the previous seasons, it’s not as disturbing.
  • Apocalypse: I was excited to hear that Coven was getting a continuation but I wasn’t happy it was a crossover with Murder House. While the time travel was a total cop out, I’m glad the witches are okay. The writing in general wasn’t very good. Where was Kyle?! They can bring back Tate but not my precious necromanced boy?!

Can I get some imagines for Hush, Overlord, Hereditary (maybe involving possession?), Mandy and Scream (either movie or TV show, I don't mind)? And in a unrelated note, I noticed that you watched some Monster High movies! What did you think of them?

Ya. Haven’t written for Hush in a while. Overlord and Mandy deserve huge fandoms. Writing for Paimon would fall under the twelfth bullet, but I can be vague about what demon’s possessing Peter. XD Ghostface is slasher bae and his MTV counterpart is also great.

It’s been a while since I watched anything Monster High. I stopped watching the webseries after their pets got voices. But I didn’t hate Jane Boolittle or anything. And I can’t remember much from the movies. I just included them because they fall under monster media.

Uh… But I was really into the fandom a few years ago, actually. Sure, Universal Monsters-but-in-a-school setting has been done with Scooby-Doo and Gravedale High but I love MH’s designs so much! If I actually had the space/money to collect dolls, I’d at least get the Sweet Screams line, Draculaura’s die-ner, and Zomby Gaga.
