It’s today, and I know I’m very nearly late, but I’m going to go ahead and post this. Despite the fact that my semester has not technically be gone yet, I have been busy for most of today. I have some people to thank for their work in fanfiction below the cut:

Since this weekend is Fic Rec Days, here are a few of the stories I have read and enjoyed since wandering into the DA fandom sometime last spring! I do occasionally read things that aren’t Fenhawke, but…okay, it’s been a while since I read anything else, so that’s what this list will feature.
To keep this…manageable, I’m going to recommend one favorite work by each author on this list in full, with just the titles of other things I’ve liked by the same author.

I hope it's not too late to do one of these! Your writing reawakened my love of writing, and I will be forever grateful that I stumbled across your work. You are one of the loveliest people I've ever had the pleasure to know, even if it's just online. I wish you nothing but the best this coming year and send lots of hugs your way.

I had never (ever) read fanfiction until reading Life Signs last year, but your marvelous abilities drew me in to the world of fanfiction and I have absolutely no regrets. You have forged personalities and mannerisms of characters so well that I have fallen in love with with many of them. It is frankly beautiful what you and those who have helped you have managed, Tarysande. (Is it okay to use names on tumblr oh god I am new to tumblr) FTA was my first DA fic, and it makes me want to hug you
I have this horrible and awesome mental picture of myself enticing people into fanfic-land like a creeper. "Here's a lollipop and some angst, kids, WELCOME TO MY WORLD MUAHAHAHA."
But really, it just makes me SO SO HAPPY to think of people coming to love things I love
(For what it's worth, I'm pretty free with my first name and am perfectly happy with people using it. If you're one of the few who knows my last name, I prefer that gets left off tumblr.)

Your stories are so good that I don't read them as you post them, because it is asking for heartbreak. I save them up to read once complete. In addition to being a talented writer, you're also a kind person, and I'm glad to know you.
You are an amazing, talented writer and I think you capture all the characters perfectly. And I'm finding out that you're also an extremely kind person. And... I kind of envy you, I wish I was half as cool as you are.
If I told you everything I would like to say here, I would completely out myself, so I'll settle for telling you that I think you are an amazingly talented writer, an interesting and lovely person, and I am so very glad to be following you!
