sebastian is essentially a fantasy protagonist with a grand revenge quest to reclaim his birthright except literally nobody except him cares abt this at all so instead he spends six years being inordinately cheerful hanging out with weird criminal mercenary illegal mage drinking buddies he doesn’t drink with. also he’s a monk who used to be a fuckboy and if you don’t kill one of your other friends at the end of the game he’ll suddenly do a supervillain speech and YOU will be the next target of his completely ineffectual revenge quest that he also won’t carry out. this is why he’s one of the best characters in dragon age
