"Who knew?"
Who knew an animated character could be so much charming?
(Used in this post about Eugene's Manacle Mystery.)
It seemed high time for another Conli post.
Notice the reflectiveness of his armor, and the buckles on the sides that keep it together. Also, even if he is the whimpiest guard, check out those muscles in his arms!

The Guards: Details are Awesome!
Several of the angriest guards are in the Captain's posse that pursue Flynn in the forest with him: Conli, the Guard-with-Muttonchops, and that other guard (who is closest to Atilla). I brightened and sharpened their faces so you could see them better. Also, the Guards (not the Captain) all have different swords than they did at the dam.
The ones they have now are all long and more saber-like. In fact, they are just about identical to the one that Flynn is branishing in the picture above (link to SUPER hi-res).
Maybe they lost all of their swords in the flood or something.
Where is the Kingdom Prison?
I can't find it anywhere in the shots of the Kingdom. Unless it's behind the Castle (which wouldn't work if you consider where Maximus landed when he jumped--with the gates in view), then the Prison only exists in the scenes in which it is the specific setting, and that counts as a big fat, frustrating Tangled Uh-Oh.
Tangled Uh-Oh
For one second--exactly 24 frames, Flynn (aka Eugene) has blue eyes.
I keep remembering that moment during the "Hot Guy" meeting, featured in "Un-Tangled," when blue eyes were so brutally dismissed. Maybe that's why almost every other character has blue eyes instead.
I've read a lot of people saying that Eugene's handcuffs "disappear" in the escape scene. I used to agree and pass it off as a Tangled uh-oh (because there are quite a few of them in the movie), until I looked at the shots more closely. ...

Have you ever noticed the Captain just lying on the floor over there?
