Well, lovelies. It’s been real. I’ve been on Tumblr for 8 years and through all of the discourse, baffling cultural trends and shifts, and shitposts, my stay here has been mostly pretty rad. I’ve met many cool folks, learned a lot, had some great and weird as fuck discussions, and have been shown oodles of love, support, and appreciation that I will always be humbled by. Tumblr has definitely shaped me as a person, and for the better.

I feel weird leaving behind a site that has meant more to me than probably any other online space, but all good things must come to an end (usually at the hands of corporate greed.) No matter what happens on Tumblrocalypse day, I’m done with this platform and its blatant disregard for and exploitation of the communities of creators (mostly those of marginalized groups) that have utilized and built Tumblr up to be a place to be seen, successful, and connect. I can’t in good conscience stay here and try to make my art and what I do palatable for corporate sponsors and sexist, puritanical standards for what is “appropriate”. This is my last post on this blog and all previous posts have been deleted. I will not be signing in again/answering any PMs here.

I’ll miss all of the friends and fans I’ve made here, but I hope you all will follow me to the other corners of the internet that I lurk in. It’s been wonderful to be a part of various communities here on Tumblr, share my perspective, and draw lots of butts for y’all.
