Caitlyn stood in the shower, hands pressed against the wall as the hot water pounded her back. Unbidden, the memory of Vi's parting came rushing back. She opened her eyes, but all she could see was Vi, telling her to forget what they had.
'No', she thought, shaking her head. 'No, I won't forget you. You mean too much to me. I don't care how much it hurts.'
But what could she do now? Vi was long gone. With all her heart, Caitlyn wished she could turn back time, reverse what had happened and tell Vi... something, anything to make her stay.
