She declines and asks him to do this one thing for her, and he reluctantly agrees. They’re at the MoM about to sign the divorce papers when Harry gets a patronus that there’s been an attack, and he leaves before he signs the papers, and Ginny is beyond pissed and goes home and starts to ‘angry pack’ his stuff into a suitcase. There’s a knock at the door a few hours later and she’s still seething and is ready to rip into Harry, but it’s not Harry it’s Kingsley and he tells her Harry didn’t make it and was killed by 7 death eaters and was hit with 7 AK’s (let’s stick with the magic number here to make it more special). During the funeral Ginny feels sick and her head is hurting and she starts getting these little flashback and she remember Fred’s funeral but instead of Fred’s body in the coffin it’s Harry’s. She starts to remember their relationship like someone just switched on a light, and the coffin they are closing isn’t just Harry Potter, but the love of her life that died thinking she couldn’t fall in love with him again. ~ FIN ~
