Started in a new job and it’s been hectic so relaxed with gentle gouache painting.
Bought the cheapest suitcase and decorated it myself with three sharpies and some paint markers. Homage to Tove Jansson’s illustrations from Moomin books. Husband added the very happy bat in the sky.

You spend your life building walls and then someone tears them down in a matter of moments is one of my favourite tropes in stories (and one of the worst things to happen in real life).
Beauty and the Beast fluff based on the new anime ‘Belle’. I don’t know anything about this film aside from the trailers but I’m already excited, I loved the same studio/director’s ‘Wolf Children’ and ‘Summer Wars’ so this should be good.

I am so looking forward to Mamoru Hosoda’s Belle. Beauty and the Beast but in an MMO virtual reality setup, I need it for personal reasons.
Thanks for all the comments on my fox family comic! I followed the family with the help of the cheapest trail camera no money can buy so everything I know of them was pieced together from short and fuzzy 10-second video clips that it would unreliably record. They had dug a den under a wooden walkway and only came out at night. Both mum and dad left at dusk and then only popped over to drop off food and left the kits to play in the garden overnight by themselves. There were four kits, one had at some point lost an eye or was born with just one but it didn’t seem to slow it down in the slightest.
