Hi! First of all, I'm in love. This mysterious post-apocalyptic radio rigs stuff is scratching something in my brain I didn't know needed to be scratched, and boy am I glad I found it ~~(only took half a year or so)~~ !! It's so nicely edited and designed as well! That being said, I've got no idea how the interactive aspect should work, but I have sooo many questions

WHERE THE HELL IS GRIAN?? As I understand it, some time ago a moon-related disaster had occurred; is climate like this everywhere now, snow, snow and more freaking snow? Or is it just winter?? And what exactly a watcher watches for?

There's so much more I want to ask but it would be just a spreadsheet of whos and wheres and whys and hows

I assume that he's talking, like giving an "interview", to whoever the purple text represents (watchers, probably), and hence apologizes to them for saying they're not special for knowing that the moon would blow up, after which a painful sound strikes and the text says something about being saved and learning control. Considering Grian-Wayward calls himself a watcher in a convo with JELLICAT later (or earlier?), sounds like your average job interview on a Tuesday morning, exept your potential boss keeps being weird and talks about control and chaos

There's an option to view in 2D or 3D isometric view which is like... really good for finding elevations and understanding the relative scale landmarks are in the overworld.

The detail in quality is great too the more you zoom in like this is part of Doc's s9 Perimeter

If Scar could write the lyrics, he’d sing this version of the story— how he saved the girl, the town, the day. It was the stuff they made movies about, the ones Scar watched as a kid and puffed up his chest in the mirror afterwards, waiting (not hoping) for the time it’d be his turn on the opposite end of the screen.

A silly dream, in hindsight. One Scar could live vicariously through the sputtering radio, the distorted voice of a stranger lamenting their worst day into the black void that was the air space. (AO3)

Oh god. Now I'm empty headed exept thinking about how trails gone cold au Etho is haunted in every way possible. He looks like a ghost, he acts like a ghost of his past self and he's constantly haunted by memories, nightmares and regrets..

I imagine the urge to return to the cave would've been so irresistible at times that Gem would have to like. Monitor him. Like a child. And sit him down, and talk sence into him, and take his keys

i imagine at first it was very difficult to exist in their house, too quiet, too obvious that pearl and tango are gone. no more laughter, no more random noises, no more random singing. and etho just sat there, wallowing in grief, trying to process that they really are not coming back now. because it's a hard thing to grasp, that one day someone was here and now they're just poof, gone. reliving their time in the cave and spiraling endlessly for what he could've done differently until he has a meltdown. because the guilt and loss and panic are all too much...

and gem is there to help him calm down and bring him back to earth, but there's not much she can do to ease his pain. she's in pain too, but she has to be strong for etho. because yes he's like a child. etho probably realizes the state he's in and he hates to be a burden, but he can't help it, not yet at least.

also this made me think, so have a doodle
