Hello! What languages do you think Nico speaks? English, Italian, and some ancient Greek; he probably also picked up some Latin at Camp Jupiter; and I saw you mentioned in a post once that you headcanon he also knows French from being tutored when he was little. Do you have any other headcanons about any more languages Nico knows?
he'd probably speak venetian too, I don't know the story too well, but mussolini tried to force regions to speak "official" italian, so it'd make sense for nico to speak his region's language
so that would make it:
- venetian
- italian
- french (aristocratic childhood side-effect)
- english (learned by immersion)
- ancient greek (demigod superpower)
- latin (maybe he learned some as a child too, otherwise he'd have to get the basics to pretend he was a roman demigod in CJ)
- spanish (I hc reyna taught him)
ofc he's not as fluent in all of them, and I know it's a fandom hc that he lost his childhood italian/venetian but I'd eat my non-yanqui shit before I accept one of the two non-english speakers in the series being better at english than their first language :)
